映画の中での現実とストーリー（フィクション）の関係について目覚めたのが映画＜フマンチュー＞てのが興味深かった。

Sax Rohmer (1883-1959) て作家
極悪人中国系のフーマンチューが世界征服をたくらみ（黄禍論）、 Denis Nayland Smithらと死闘を繰り広げるピカレスクみたいだ（未読）
http://www.kirjasto.sci.fi/rohmer.htmによれば
10年代〜30年代このシリーズが当たり、ベストセラー作家になる
当時エジプトの発掘に世情の関心が集まり、ミイラものも手がけている。
後英国からアメリカに渡り小説を量産。
そのなかで、この人オカルトに関心があり、例のＡ・クローリー、イェーツ等が参加した＜黄金の暁＞（the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn）に顔を出している、オカルト探偵！なんかも後に登場させるそうだ。
パルプだね。
エックスプロイテートもいいとこみたい。
